(PRLEAP.COM) The Aster Awards, hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today and Creative Images, Inc., has honored SMITH & JONES as a Gold Award Winner for the 2006 competition. The award was given to the Troy, NY based marketing communications firm for a newspaper advertising campaign supporting The Northeast Back Institute.

With nearly 2,500 entries, participants in the Aster Awards compete against similarly-sized organizations from across the country. Judging criteria include Creativity, Typography, Production Quality, Knowledge Transfer and Overall Excellence.
