Non-Profit Group Seeks Biographies of African Americans, Homosexuals, and Those Diagnosed with Cancer, and AIDS(PRWEB) June 1, 2006 -- The Remembering Site wants to talk with representatives of groups representing people living with AIDS, cancer survivors, African American elders, and homosexuals of all ages because we want you to write your life story, to break down misperceptions, to educate others, and so that we will never forget. The Remembering Site will waive the $25 registration fee for ALL members of these organizations.
The Remembering Site is a non-profit organization that makes it easy for anyone, anywhere to write, share, publish and print your life story.
Some featured biographies currently available to read at www.TheRememberingSite.org include:
* A 21 year-old blind woman and budding author;
* A 28 year-old man who wrote his story so his fiance would know more about him;
* A 36 year-old woman serving in Iraq who was left at the step of a church at birth;
* A 38 year-old man in Cuba who has never driven a car;
* A 38 year-old woman who was raised in poverty but is now the author of 7 books;
* A 56 year-old breast cancer survivor;
* Men and women aged 79- 87 who grew up on the plains in Nebraska; and

Some are funny or witty; others are stories of triumph but all are inspiring.
The Remembering Site wants to talk with representatives of groups representing people living with AIDS, cancer survivors, African American elders, and homosexuals of all ages.
We have created special focus chapters on life with AIDS, cancer, or growing up African American or homosexual because we want you to write your life story, to break down misperceptions, to educate others, and so that we will never forget.
