On June 8, Chicago business speaker and author Christine Corelli presented - A New Brand of Business - Building Louisiana Together to five hundred business and economic development leaders at the Entergy Team City Conference held in Baton Rouge.

Prior to her presentation, she listened intently as economic development and business leaders approached the platform and spoke of their accomplishments in their work with passion and pride.

Not to diminish the personal loss so many of you have suffered, but we must look to the future. Resources are available to you to build your businesses and communities. Business and economic development leaders must take advantage of those resources and forge ahead, she stated.

A great deal of work lies ahead. It may take five years to see the results. But progress is already in place. Let&#s focus on the future and create a new and better State.

Corelli stated that it was an honor to have been selected as the keynote speaker for the event.
