(PRWEB) July 27, 2006 -- Lancashire motorcycle racer Ian Whitlow has good reason to smile as he announces the addition of a major sponsor for the 2006 season.

Morecambe born Ian has a score of successes behind him, including finishing a credible 10th, 3rd and 2nd place at the opening round this season. Ian’s plans for later in the year include racing at Aintree and road races all over the UK. He is also hoping to compete in all 8 rounds of the NEMCRC championship before the end of 2006.
Already sponsored by some major
local companies like Frank Shepherd Motorcycles, David Dale accident repairs, Wayne Gallagher plumbing and heating and JB signs, J&R Dynotech and Pro Race, Ian needed an additional sponsor for this year to keep him on the road. This has come from Morecambe based company Completely Clean.
Ian explained, “It is almost impossible to race a 1000cc bike competitively these days without considerable backing. I get through three pairs of tyres each race and at £220 a pair, the costs soon ad up. When Completely Clean approached me, it seemed the perfect choice as the very nature of their
business makes it really relevant to racing. The bike is always filthy after every race!”
This successful partnership came about when Sarah Davey, MD of Completely Clean met Ian at Lancaster Honda, where he worked. Sarah had the commercial cleaning contract at the office and Joint Director Neil Davey is simply mad about bikes.
Sarah said, “Having recently had the pleasure of sponsoring the Bare Rangers (Morecambe’s under 9’s football team), we were looking for fresh opportunities to promote our business, with the emphasis on keeping things clean. Ian’s racing bike just seemed perfect. We hope to sponsor Ian for as long as he needs our support and wish him well with all his future races.”
Completely Clean have been established since 2002 and now employ a team of 42 people to offer a professional cleaning service to both commercial and domestic customers. Providing spring-cleans and deep-cleans, their services also extend to pre and post party clean ups, for those people who really want to let their hair down!
