“She is expecting her first baby…on top of working full time in a neonatal intensive unit she helps me with all of my medical needs. I have cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease that has taken its toll on my lungs. I am on the lung transplant list and unable to work. My sister helps support me; I have lived with her and her husband for three years now and will continue to live there after my transplant. She takes me to all of my many doctor appointments and sold her house and moved into a smaller rented one to save money so she can take time off of work after my transplant (up to 3 months) to help take me everyday to physical therapy. I would like my sister to get the Moses basket because I cannot buy her much and she does so much for me.”
